I sat with my scriptures and a question on my mind... what do my children need as we go into the new school year?

My answer was... PEACE!

So in 2020-2021 we are focusing on PEACE in CHRIST.

I want my second grader and kindergarder to know that when they are nervous, when things do not go as planned, when they need help, when they are feeling uneasy during this mask covered pandemic they can find PEACE IN CHRIST.

SCRIPTURES

Here are some of the scriptures we will read in our dinner discussion.

1. Psalms 29:11 (Christ gives peace) The Lord will give strength unto his people. The Lord will bless his people with Peace.
2. Psalms 34:14 (Seek it, Persue=follow it (someone or something) in order to catch it)Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace and pursue it. 
3. Isaiah 9:6 Christ is the prince of Peace
4. Mark 4:39 And he arose, and he rebukes the wind, and sid untio the sea; Peace be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
5. 1 Corinithians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace
6. Ephesians 2:14 For he is our peace.
