It thrills me to know that so many people in my crafting corner feel inspired to start memory journaling. I've had lots of questions about my photo printer. I want to tell you all about it and the process I go through to print my pictures every week.

PHOTO PRINTER

The Canon Selphy 1300 is $99 on Amazon. I have always had a photo printer. My grandfather got me a Kodak one 15 years ago while I was in high school so I could print and scrapbook my photos. It is a convenience I have ALWAYS loved. When that printer died in 2015... I asked for this Canon Selphy 1200 for Christmas. My kind in-laws got it for me! It's a gift that keeps giving. There's now an upgraded Canon Selphy 1300 . You can read all the differences here. But there's nothing too big to note in my opinion. All I can see for sale now is the 1300. The 1200 is $89 on the canon website refurbished.

INK AND PAPER

You can buy the ink and paper in sets of 108 on amazon for $27.49. That's .25 per a photo. Just for comparison:

Every Sunday, I print off four or six of my favorite photos from the week. I use an app called CANVA to lay it on on a 4x6 page. After the initial week all I have to do is click the photo I want to replace then choose a new photo and it pops right up. I export it and use air print from my phone to print it on the selphy! That's it! Easy Peasey.
